We started celebrating last night. I made canadian bacon pizza with dough made in my bread machine. It was really good. It was even better because it looked like a jack-o-lantern…or at least it was supposed to. I don’t know if you can tell, but he’s supposed to be sticking his tongue out.
Then this morning, I made Daniel peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes in the shapes of ghosts, cats, pumpkins, and bats. Daniel went to work all day and came back and we picked out pumpkins! So, of course, we asked the neighbors to come hang out with us.
We couldn’t leave our animals out of all of this, though! So…we bought them a pirate costume! Taco went first. He didn’t really know what to do with himself, so we managed to get a good picture. This is him saying, “Arrrr!”
Then it was Chance’s turn. He was less than thrilled. It didn’t help that we had bought an extra small costume and Chance is not an extra small. Now we know we can get them into outfits, though! This could just have opened up a whole new world of possibilities!
