It sounds like his pharmacy school interview went great! He's nervous about the essay portion, because he ran out of time and wasn't able to finish, but it sounds like he rocked the one-on-one interview!
I mean, how could he not when he was looking this good? ;-)
She started tearing up.
So much so that he had to leave out quite a few details and end his story early.
I sure don't blame the woman! When I think about what he's been through in his life and see the incredible man he's become, I tear up, too.

An older woman was interviewing him and when she asked a question about a moral/ethical dilemma in his life, he started to describe some of his experiences in Iraq. More specifically, a time when he was alone in a room with a terrorist.

That man right there? That's my husband. :-)

I absolutely LOVE the picture with Daniel surrounded by all those school children. I have seen it many times and yet I still smile and swell with pride each time I see it. Your Daniel is a pretty amazing guy!
glad things went well!! timed essays are always tough--i'm sure he's not the only one who didn't finish. we're praying he gets in!! :)
This post made me smile.
I've been reading silently for a few days now and when you mention about your hubby being an Iraq vet, that's when I took and extra special interest in your blog. You see, we have something in common (except mine's still there). Such random things to have in common, isn't it? God, food and military men. But y'know what? Sounds like a perfect combination to me :)
:)
I love that picture, too! I love that the little kids are reaching out to him...melts my heart!
I totally agree! It sounds to me like he did finish was well thought out and well written, so I think he has it in the bag. ;-)
It's a great combination! I sure hope your husband is (safely!) on his way home to you soon! Thank your husband for serving and thank you for supporting him from the home front...neither is an easy job! Daniel's deployment was one of the most heart-wrenching times of my life!
