We’re Here!

We pulled into Colorado tonight and are already having a blast! We were greeted by my sister and an excited two year-old, who was bursting with excitement to show us the Pooh ornament on their Christmas tree.

She melts my heart!

And Daniel finally got to meet our nephew! Their first meeting wasn’t ideal (Caden started screaming when I handed him to Daniel) and their second meeting wasn’t much better (I laid him on Daniel’s chest and…he started screaming), but I’m sure after little man has had a full night of sleep, their interactions will go much more smoothly. I told Daniel that I think Caden could sense his fear.

But Brianna had no reservations in playing with her uncle! There was chasing, spinning, book-reading, shoulder-riding…

roaring, pirate singing, gorilla-signing, and much more…and we’ve only spent a few hours with her so far!

This little girl has so much energy! We’d already run countless laps around Nana and Papa’s house chasing each other, but as soon as we got back to her house and changed her into her PJs…
