For the past few months, between moving into our new home, traveling to and from Colorado multiple times, and all sorts of other random things that popped into our lives, I feel like a bunch of things have been put on hold!
Food blogging (and blogging in general) has been pushed to the back burner.
Cooking has been rare and dreaming up new recipes completely non-existent!
Exercising has been entirely absent from our lives, while there have been fast food trips aplenty (ick.).
My quiet times have been happening, but are usually far too short and rushed.
We couldn’t get a dog until we moved into a house (yes, a pup will be joining our family soon!).
There were a hundred and one little things that had to be done in order (can’t unpack the office until we buy a desk, can’t organize the garage until we get rid of the moving boxes, etc).
But, the waiting has ended! We’re back in Arizona and have no traveling plans in the immediate future. We are 90% unpacked. I’m cooking up a storm, brainstorming recipes to blog, and tackling organization projects day by day. I’m ready to tackle 2013.
Daniel and I are working on a list of goals for the new year and my favorite part of that process is evaluating and re-prioritizing our time and reorganizing. I’m already feeling energized and ready to jump into new things.
Stay tuned: New Year’s Goal post (ha! goal post.) comin’ atcha!
