Goals for 2013
Reach my goal weight. I’ve been waiting years (and years and years…) for this and there is no better year to make it happen! In 2012, I lost almost 30 pounds and kept it off all year, so I can do this!
Continuing goal #1, I will get back into running again. I haven’t run since August (except now I’ve gotten out twice in the last three days!). I have a new couch-to-5k app on my phone and a new running playlist all ready and raring to go.
Continuing goal #1 again, I am going to follow Alton’s list diet (more on that one soon). Except we’re not going to call it a diet. We want it to be a lifestyle. We have been fast food/fried food/junk food junkies for far too long and it’s the perfect year to fuel our bodies with healthy foods.
Make time for more genuine quiet times. No phones/iPads/laptops allowed.
Practice hospitality. We have plenty of space now, so we can throw parties, have people over for dinner, invite people to impromptu coffee dates (way cheaper than Starbucks!), and more! We are having a few people over for dinner next weekend, are already working on some birthday parties for Daniel later this month, and have our first guests coming to stay with us in February.
