This post made me smile.
I've been reading silently for a few days now and when you mention about your hubby being an Iraq vet, that's when I took and extra special interest in your blog. You see, we have something in common (except mine's still there). Such random things to have in common, isn't it? God, food and military men. But y'know what? Sounds like a perfect combination to me :)

I absolutely LOVE the picture with Daniel surrounded by all those school children. I have seen it many times and yet I still smile and swell with pride each time I see it. Your Daniel is a pretty amazing guy!
